June Cohen is the Co-Founder with Deron Triff of WaitWhat, a new, first-of-its-kind content incubator that invests in, develops and nurtures original media properties until they achieve great scale.

For 17 combined years, June and Deron led TED’s media enterprise, growing TED Talks from its initial concept to an audience of 1 billion views or listens each year. June joined TED as employee #5 and built its digital media operations from the ground up, launching TED Talks in 2006, TED.com in 2007 and the TED Open Translation Project in 2009. She also co-produced and co-hosted the flagship conference with Chris Anderson. Previously, she was VP of Content at HotWired, the online arm of Wired Magazine. Before that, in 1991, she led the Stanford team that developed the world’s first networked multimedia magazine. June holds a BA from Stanford, where she was Editor in Chief of The Stanford Daily. WaitWhat’s first original property — Masters of Scale, a podcast featuring Reid Hoffman — launches in early May.
